The SMRC Family and Friends Association has demonstrated continuing interest and support to our programs since 1980. The Association actively advocates in support of services to people with an intellectual or related developmental disabilities.

The Association serves to support family members through information sharing. The Association remains a strong supporter of SMRC programs through funding the Employee of the Quarter Program, providing financial support for enrichment activities and supplies, and sponsoring beautification efforts of the Long Beach campus.

Membership in the Association is open to all family members and citizens with a common interest in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
